Miscellaneous Musings from the Technical Director
After a few months respite from writing blog articles, I welcome you to our new blog format. We hope that you find it interesting, useful, and refreshing.
It is hard to believe that it has been two years since we started HydroComp’s blog. The first posting was in September 2006 – a report on the SNAME Propeller Symposium. Two years and some 36 articles later, we are releasing “version 2″ of the HydroComp Blog.
You will note from the URL that we are using a commercial blogging service – WordPress. After investigating a number of blog hosting alternatives (including the option to continue managing it ourselves on our own site), we have found the features available with WordPress to offer real value to blog readers. Hopefully, the increased functionality (searching, RSS, comment management) will enhance the enjoyment for our visitors.
So, in the spirit of any new version release, please send us your thoughts, comments, and suggestions. And don’t forget to click the RSS link to sign up for live bookmarks. Thanks, and good reading.
